| Mac or PC laptops for college study?  | | | |  I'm getting ready to start my fall semester at the end of summer so I'm gathering up all my school supplies now so that I can enjoy my summer!
I'm looking for a new laptop though, and I was wondering - for those of you who are in college or have gone to college and used a laptop for your classes - which do you think is better for course work? A Mac laptop or a PC laptop?

| |  I've heard really good things about Macs, but haven't used them much. It would be cheaper to go with a windows laptop, and you will also probably face less compatibility issues that way. It would also depend on what your major is. If you are going to have to use alot of different applications, you may need to run windows in order for them to work, if you are just going to be using word processing/office type apps, you could easily use either.

| |  i also haven't used mac laptop so i don't have an idea how good it was for you. i just use a nec laptop and so far so good, it's good for me
