That is a great looking picture you took. While at my daughter's there were so many red birds (cardinals) and even some blue jays and everytime I got my camera and got it zoomed in on the bird and just fixing to click it flew away. Maybe one day I will get me a good picture also. Thank you for posting that pretty picture.

What a lovely bird, I do not think that I have seen one of those before. I have certainly never seen anything like that in my garden! I love birds I think there are some beautiful birds about.

Gorgeous bird. Cardinals are one of my favorites. We have 2 males in my yard too and they have a multitude of females. They produce many babies every year. Getting expensive to feed them all...lol.

I am glad that you got the shot of this georgeous bird to share with us. I was able to get pictures of cardinals last year, but not this year. We have at least 3 cardinal families that visit my bird feeders every day. I think that they are one of the most beautiful birds. Thanks for sharing him with us.

That little cardinal is just the cutest thing ever. He is truly preening himself to look good, or else he thinks his reflection is his girlfriend... so cute!

It is a VERY cute shot. Good job, mooch. I love catching those type moments. My husband is pretty good at catching those type things in our backyard.
