we had a blast today!

Oh glad you had a great day! My day rocked too..it was SUPPOSE TO be cloudy and gloomy all day but ended up being sunny and warm so I've been out on the porch reading and writing to my bf etc etc...Don't ya just love it when days rock!

It sounds like you had a fantastic day, I have never eaten mexican food before but it sounds really lovely. Glad you had a good day with your friend, I went for a coffee with a friend and my little girl this morning and then we went and had a browse around a few shops before coming home and doing some cleaning.

Hey freind - so glad you had a great day. I love days like that. I can hardly wait unti the snow is all gone and I can have a day out with good friends, good food, good weather and the joy of living. Lucky you!

It's great ya had a good time. I visit my A.A. club and sometimes a few of us friends will go out to eat. I did this just the other day. We went to a Perkins and had coffee and muffins and sat for 3 hours chatting up a storm. Always good to go out with friends for just small talk etc once in awhile.

Well, I am not so sure about your friend, lol, but the Mexican food sounds great.. A day out with a friend is wonderful, especially if you have the time to enjoy it for as long as you want to.. The last time that I had a meal in a restaurant that was this enjoyable was when my son and his wife joined us at a 50"s style restaurant.. We had eaten our meal and were about ready to leave when my son called and asked where we were at.. When we told him, he told us he was not far from us, so he came by for a few minutes before going home, (he lives in a smaller town about an hours drive away).. Before we left, my son and his wife had ordered, we ordered a dessert and coffee, and then we spent another hour just eating, laughing, talking, joking and having a great time.. And 50.00 and 2 hours later, we finally left.. Some people would say this was an awful long time to tie up tables when there might be other customers waiting, but this was later in the evening and after the rush.. It was nice, the waitress was compensated for us taking so much of her time, we had a great meal, we enjoyed the ambience of the retro decor and the great reprieve from everyday living.. We all need to go to dinner with a friend and just take time to enjoy the friendship, the food and the break from the world..
