| | He's been a rock singer since 1973. He began as a singer for a band called Montrose (Rock Candy and Bad Motor Scooter were their two most popular songs), then had a solo career for several years, during which time he released his most popular song "I Can't Drive 55". In 1986 he joined the band Van Halen and released several albums with them before departing to continue his solo career. His fans are known as "Redheads" (red being his favorite color and the name of another of his songs). He is the owner of Cabo Wabo tequila (or was; he sold 80% of the business earlier this year for 80 million dollars).
