how serious is cheating?

no i dont think the rle is too harsh. if they actually want the education, theyll study. and if theyre going to cheat.. they deserve to be thrown out.

You know, I really hate cheating; the ends don't justify the means. If people didn't cheat, then maybe they'd learn something and we wouldn't have all these idiots who claim to have degrees or certificates who don't know what they are doing. I didn't care about the grade as much as I cared about what I learned. And, I think I've been able to apply things I've learned in other parts of my life.

Now, for your original question, I really don't have an answer. I know a whole lot of people who say that they have cheated, so it seems like it would be a big problem. Most people in the world seem to think cheating is OK as long as they don't get caught.

I don't think expulsion is too harsh as long as there is proof that the student was cheating. I once had someone almost get me in trouble when she asked me for the answer to a question on a test. I could have gotten in trouble just for looking at her when she was talking to me.

In my own opinion, the rule isn't too harsh. It has been the rule since the old times, and it has been tested. If you won't make the people learn from their mistakes, they would repeat the sin or mistake on the latter of their lives. Through the imposition of this rule, students would learn the cons of cheating, as well as how much it would cost from their lives and from their education. There's no other way, I believe, to clear the minds of the youth from cheating. However, in my previous school, they just give you the lowest grade once you were caught cheating for the first time. For the second time, you would be given the lowest grade and be suspended. And for the third and the last time, you would be expelled. It's better if there are warnings because the child or students would now that he still has a chance to change his study habits.

i think that it is very serious...i mean you are suppose to go there to be getting your education and all of that so why would you want to cheat your way through it honestly...i mean a lot of the kids there will actually study so i don't understand why everyone can...i just think that it is sensless to cheat if you really want to learn something...thats just my opinion though

i think cheating is really serious. First you'd think it's just normal cause just about anybody you know has cheated one way or another, but eventually you cheating wouldn't just be in school. You might grow up to be cheating in other ways like in more serious things like in work, or things that might even get you to be breaking the law. So as much as possible, stop the habit of cheating as early as your schooldays.

i guess the rule is too harsh if they caught they students cheating. they should only suspend their students and get a failing mark in their exam instead of getting them expelled

I think that, if they cheat, it's their own fault.

The people paying for them are wasting their money, and yeh.
