| | 2.  robsbrooklyngirl (3079) | 2 years ago |  I was born & raised in Brooklyn, NY & although I love to go back for visits from time to time I would never move back there. First the cost of living there is way too high. The crime rate is higher there then almost anywhere else in the United States. The public schools are horrible & the city itself is dirty & over crowded. Now if you are thinking of visiting there then thats fine. The city does have a lot to offer. There is so much to see & do in the city, but visiting is ALLthat I recommend doing.
