Today is GAME 1 of the Stanley Cup Play-offs

" It's the most wonderful time of the year"! For the first time 5 out of my 6 teams have made it to the playoffs. The Red Wings, The Flames, The Rangers, The Penguins and last but not least The Caps. the coyotes didn't make it.All the match ups are good.And this year anyone could hoist the cup. My dream is to see a rematch of The Red Wings-Caps but, forgive me, this time The caps win.I am in love with Overchkin.The man has the finese of Crosby with the mentality of Chaara.He will finish his checks. he scores and I can't believe that The caps got him.He is the MVP.But who will hoist the cup? don't know.

I have to say I have never been to a hockey game, but it is on my bucket list. My cousin and her husband are huge Red Wings fans though, and I would bet they will be watching. Hope you have fun during hockey-mania season Dru!

Sorry Dru, I was on my annual trek to Washington, DC with my senior class govt. class. I just read your message and I see you already have a couple of response. Although I am not a big hockey fan I do enjoy watching the playoffs. Do you put a broom in the rear window of your car during the playoffs. I have seen many cars with the broom in their rear window whenever I am near Detroit during the playoffs. Go Redwings!
