are throw pillows pointless?  

Throw pillows... the word says it all... You are meant to throw them at each other, otherwise what's the point of having them!! :)
I know I really enjoy throwing pillows around in the living room!!

I don't think anyone sleeps on them, but shouldn't some things just have a function of being pretty? I've got throwpillows on my bed, and yes, I have to take them off at night and put them back on in the morning, but they are pretty, I like pretty - makes me smile, when I smile, I'm a happier, nicer person, so maybe throwpillows do make the world a better place - LOL!

I personally do not have any throw pillows and I don't plan on getting them. I don't see the point of havening a pillow that no one will ever use.

i have seen some beautiful throw pillows before when i have been out and about shopping somewhere. but i do not have any throw pillows on my couch or my love seat. but i do have one throw pillow that is on my bed thou. and i have a couch downstairs as well that does have throw pillows on it that matches the couch. isn't that weird. lol that i would have throw pillows on the couch downstairs that nobody can see? lmao our next door neighbor's were going to give their old couch to Goodwill, and we snatched it up before the Goodwill truck came and picked it up. we wanted a couch for the downstairs area of our house because the boys like to do down there and play video games and do things down there that i will not let them do upstairs, like jumping and things like that. so we are slowly fixing up the downstairs for them to have a play area of their own.

For me, no pillow is useless. I love laying on top of piles of pillows on the bed when I want to relax. :]
