advice for a digital camera ..??

but i thought to limit my specs for the camera
i really need it very much for doing my final thesis
but at the same time, i realize how technology is very fast nowadays
so i want to get a good and cheap one, and save myself some money for another latest and better camera, hehee
i'm thinking myself to get an exilim camera

i'm doing final paper, and the camera would help me documenting
i need to take pictures of the company i'm going to observe,
and some pictures when i interviewed the respondents

about my euphoric way, hahaa, i guess that's how i wrote stuffs here.. hehee

hmm, i'm not sure of buying a second hand electronic devices
such devices need to handle with care
and i'm afraid whether the previous owner is a careless one

1. it's for doing my final thesis, i must take some photos as documents.. but i also want to use it for other interest, hehee
and also for taking photos with friends etc
2. yups, i'm a hobbyist.. hehee, i like taking pictures of skies and clouds
3. hmm, a brand name ..?? exilim maybe ..?? is it a good one??
