car wash finds necklace valued at 500,000 in vacuum cleaner

Wow, i'm not sure. I guess i would feel guilty after all and want to find out who it belonged to.

I'd return it, of course! I couldn't live with myself if I didn't.

Good for that company! I like to think there are more companies and people
that would return it than wouldn't.

Im glad they are doing the right thing but how do you lose a necklace that valuable in a car wash people. I mean really if I had a necklace like that Id never let the thing out of my site.

With it being a necklace, it would probably have a lot of sentimental as well as monetary value, so I would return it, it would be cruel not too. I guess with it being found in a place that is a business then whoever lost it could quite easily track it down anyway. But fancy losing something like that though, if it was me and I lost something that valuable I would be sick!! I would not want to go home and tell whoever had bought it for me thats for sure!

I probably would have kept it, as I would not have even thought that I could find the owner.

The neclace wouldn't mean anything to me. I don't wear much jewelry at all.. and just don't care about it. I wouldn't be interested in selling or pawning such a thing either... it isn't mine, I wouldn't feel right about selling something that isn't mine.. I would take it to the police station or if I knew who lost it, I would call them and tell them.

Thats one lucky person. I love diamonds. I'm not much on diamond necklaces but love rings. I would try to get the necklace back to its owner. It could be a gift from someone very special or an heirloom. I would want it returned to me if I lost it. There are still some honest people in this world.

As much as it would hurt, I would have to return it to the rightful owner.. I might be tempted to wear it around the house for a few hours first, but I do not know anyone who could afford a necklace worth half a million dollars.. Does anyone on here know anyone like that.. I would have to be very suspicious if any of my friends wore something like that.. I just can't imagine being able to afford something that frivolous.. Maybe with that kind of money, I might but 4 or 5 homes, and furnish them, a few cars, stick some in the bank, pay off my bills, save more, and on and on.. I did say in some of my earlier posts that I was very thrifty, so I really do like to get more than my money's worth... Nothing like a silly piece of jewelry..

I guess I would give it back. I don't really like expensive jewelry and such. I do like jewelry but the really colorful and weird ones that don't cost too much. But I would give it back. Plus you never know if you might get a reward.
