Spring Craft Fair Season Is Here!! Does Anyone Have Shows Scheduled?

My first show is this Sunday and I'm hoping for a nice turnout. I do this show in the fall and it's always well-attended. I was in the area a few weeks ago and I noticed the promoters had place HUGE signs around town for the show, which is a very good sign. They have also advertised in the paper, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a decent turnout.
I have many new jewelry creations for this show (and my next show on May 3rd) and for the first time, I'll be accepting credit cards.
I've also purchased quite a few new displays for my table and hope to post a picture after this show (below is a photo of my table display from last fall season...it's expanded quite a bit since then)
So does any of the other myLot crafty members have any shows in mind for the spring season?

Since I am responding to this discussion after the show, how did it go Sunday? Good sales? I do love to hear great success stories and hope you have one to share.
I am not going to do many if any this spring or summer. Having back issues and it's difficult to lift the suitcase and carry a table. I won't sign up for the expensive shows since my items are inexpensive and the profits just aren't there. I love working on plastic canvas items and have loads of stock.

Hi carol! The show's turnout wasn't what I had hoped for (actually it wasn't even close to what I hoped for) The promoters did a good job promoting the show, but they didn't limit the number of jewelry vendors which both hurt me with a lot of competition and made quite a few customers unhappy about the amount of jewelry.
The weather didn't really help. It had been rainy cloudy, cold all week long and Sunday was the first sunny day. That may have hurt the turnout to.
I made my table money back, made a bit of a profit, not enough to compensate my effort, but I did better than many of the vendors.
I won't do the spring show next year, but they do run a great fall show. Hopefull the show I'm doing in early May will be a bit better. I think after that show, I'll enjoy the beach with my family, concentrate on my Etsy shop and gear-up for the fall and winter season.
Thanks for your response!

That sounds like it should have an awesome turnout for the event! I hope you have a nice sunny, but cool day.

I do have to admit, it really is time consuming to get ready for them. My hubby helps me with the set-up and breakdown of my displays (and takes the boys to a park, relatives, friends, somewhere away from the show)
I've spent every night this week sitting at my craft table until 10:30-11pm so I could finish up several pieces for the show.
Thanks for the compliments and your response!
