Are you afraid of being laughed at when it comes to language learning?
Our English teachers always told us never to be afraid of opening your mouth to speak, or making mistakes.

But are you always courageous enough to speak an unfamiliar language?

Tell us your language learning experience, whether it's Chinese, or English, or any other language, and whether you're afraid of being laughed at when you make mistakes
what's your idea?

No, NEVER! :) In fact, I am the opposite of that kind of people. First of all, I am very into learning new languages and perfecting my skills on it. So far, I have learned only English but I am interested in Spanish now. If only I had no school to go and didn't have useless topics to study, I would have perfected my Spanish as well. It is really a very nice thing to learn new languages and it brings a new color to your life. I never feel afraid of making mistakes because even if you speak your native language, you can still make mistakes so there is no problem with making mistakes when using a foreign language. Additionally, the way to learn a language goes through practicing. If you doN't practice your language skills, then you won't keep them for a long time. So, you shouldn't be afraid of making mistakes because you are STILL learning, and you will always be! but what if you speak the new language you learnt all the time? you will get experienced on that language sooner and you will be able to speak it in a close time!

Once I had decided to learn Spanish, I used to try building new sentences from the words that I had learnt. Yes, it was not very easy because my knowledge was poor. but this surely increased my flexibility on spanish, now I forgot it all cuz of the heavy workload on my school but once I get rid of (I mean graduate :) ) from the university, I will focus on learning spanish again and I think it will be much faster. because during the time I learned english, I also noticed some useful ways to follow when learning a language.

I would love to be a language teacher in fact... But it will never be possible for me :(
