What do you love or hate about being single?

Yes i am a bachelor and don't feel awkward in being so .The best thing of being single is the freedom to be what you are and to do what you like . The disadvantage is you tend to be little lonely at times .

Men have the advantage, I think, at least here in the U.S. There's still a stigma attached to single women and so many of them feel they need to be coupled up with a man so any man who's even barely decent looking (not that looks should matter) can pretty much pick and choose. Women are getting more independent, though, so I think it's slowly changing.

I love being single after 20 years of marriage. I never realized how trapped I felt. I do sometimes miss having someone around but then, he didn't talk much and wasn't very good company the last few years.

I'm glad to be a "bachelorette" and hope to stay that way the rest of my life!

I hate being Single & it is Hard to Find Somebody like Miss Right. Females don't
Speak Up or look at You in the Street. I know their Shy & it is Hard to look at
a Guys Face & Smile to Let Him Know he is Alive. Their is no Communication these
Days & it is Not Good. To much Time Talking on the Cell Phone to Chat away or
Listen to Their Mp3 Player. I know it is Numbers like 1 in a Million or more till
You Find the Right Girl. It is a Matter of Time to. They Work against You & Sometimes in Favor of You. Good Luck Single People.

The thing that I love being single is:
1. you can go out with guys without nobody getting jealous
2. you can meet several guys with no limit
3. you are not committed
4. you can talk to guys on the phone non-stop
5. you are free to do whatever you like to do

The thing that I hate being single is:
1. There is no one to give me gifts during valentines
2. no one to say "i love you and i miss you to.
3. no one to hold hands with

I am a woman and I love being single. I have been married and divorced and so I've seen it from both sides. I will never marry again nor will I even live with a guy again. Will I ever love again?....Oh, knowing me ...probably. I just love my independence and am not willing to compromise it. Its just not worth it.

I am divorced and personally, I dislike that term. I do not go to bars or hang out at coffee shops. I dislike not having someone to cuddle with and to share my personal feelings with. I think that age has more to do with disadvantage than gender. I look about twelve years younger than I am and so the only men that "hit on me" are usually younger than I care to date. I would really like to find someone close to my age that I share my life with.

I am still a bachelorette and I love being at this status. However there are times that I wish I had a partner.

it has its advantages and its drawbacks. you dont have to worry about someone telling you you cant go anywhere or do so on so forth. but it is lonely when your worried and upset about something and no one to ask advice or lean on or kill the big spider!

Yeah, I think that women have it harder being single, since people sort of expect girls to be off and married and all of that crap.

However, I prefer to stay single - none of that emotional attachment crap.

for now,what i love about been single is that i can go anywhere i like and stay for as long as i want without telling anyone b4 leaving or thinking that somebody is waiting for me at home.
I don't really like been single cos i want to have someone i'll called my own and share the rest of my life with me,that will be there to held me up whenever i'm down emotionally.spiritually,physically etc.
I don't think men is at disadvantage cos you can still get a young lady to marry when you're old provided you are rich,but for ladies,as they grow old they tend to loose their beauty.
