| My son is turning 11 on Monday  | | | |  We are having a birthday party for him tonight - he is having 4 friends over for pizza, popcorn, ice cream cake, movies and a sleepover. I have prizes to give out for each of the movies (I`ll be asking questions so they have to pay attention, lol).
Since there are 5 of them, including my son, I have asked each child to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow - they are going to sleep on the floor in the rec room - it is not a bare floor - it is carpeted and I have some thick comforters to put down as well if needed.
Some of the people I work with were shocked that I was `making` them sleep on the floor!
When you were a kid at a sleepover, where did you sleep? We slept on floors, in tents and even in playhouses!
It didn't kill us and none of the parents are objecting. I was surprised at their reaction. What do you think??

You mean people actually thought sleeping on the floor was strange??? What are you suppose to sleep on the table?? Goes to show me still that people are weird and pampered!
Kids are Kids and love the floor, ground..whether its the yard or beach...
