HOLY CRAP!!!That girl could of been killed by that drug. Shoot, even a cow can die from it if given too high a dose. They should definately be talking to the b/f or whoever got her pregnant along with his and her friends. Whoever spiked her drink with it should be prosecuted for attempted murder, I would think. You really can't hold the school responsible for something like this thou. BUT I hope the school will work with the police in finding out who did this to the poor girl and her unborn child. -shaking my head- I just can't believe someone would do this. It really boggles my mind.

Hi mooch! It is really so sad why people even the young ones could think of horrible things to harm someone. I do agree with your suspicions that the one who did this is someone connected to the pregnancy thing. The school should be a safe place for all the children and security should truly be strictly enforced at all times. But I am just wondering how the school can prevent drugs in smaller quantity being sneaked within their premises? However I do think the school should be held accountable for their students behavior so that in the future the school will think and enforce greater measures in preventing things like this to happen again. If it is my child who became a victim of this kind of harm or assault, I would definitely sue the one responsible for the crime and also the school because they are responsible for my child's safety within their premise. I am not sure the school could be held responsible for this, this was done on the sly when no one was looking including the girl.

I would think first that it was a school mate that did not like her, or shared her views on raising a child out of wedlock.

If I was the parent there would be a police investigation and the culprit be brought to justice with the full force of the law.

I dont see where the school could be at fault ya know how sneaky kids could be and the school would have no control over something like this.If drink is ungaurded any one could have slipped this in her drink also she might have done it to her self 14 year olds might not want babies!

She'd have to be interviewed and they'd have to find out everyone who had access to her drink to prove who did it, though there's such a huge time frame there it could of been any of thousands of other kids or teachers I imagine. Maybe trying to find out who would have access to that drug would be a start. It is a shocking thing to happen at school or anywhere though and the first person I would think of as doing it would be the boy who got her pregnant, or though it sounds horrible the girl herself and she's just saying she was spiked because she doesn't want her parents to know she wanted to abort the baby for some reason.

That's just so sick and I can't believe someone would be so cruel as to do that. That's awful!

First, if I had a daughter who got pregnant at such a young age, she would be grounded for life (well, at least until she was old enough to move out anyway LOL)

Second, if this did happen to my daughter, I would press so many charges that they would never see the outside of a prison sell and the only person they would be seeing is Bubba and calling him sweetheart

That is just creepy. I mean some kid probly did this what would make them think this is okay. I couldnt even begin to imagine how I would feel if someone did this to me. It didnt say in the article if she lost the baby. Id assume not as the charges are assault and not murder.

I would be fuming mad if that were my daughter but I would be just as mad if I were a friend. The person who did this obviously doesn't know the consequences of what they did. Not only could they harm the kid but also the foetus. If she wants to keep the child then that is her decision, it is NOT for someone to make that decision for her.

I agree with you that it must be someone who is close to the 'father' of the kid.

I don't think the school can really do much to protect the girl under these sort of circumstances. You can't monitor what each child has in it's pockets or in their bags etc. It is an impossible situation to control. Very sad, this.

I agree with all of you , what was done to this poor girl is damn right disgusting.

Where would a child of that age get this Prostamate from anyway, If it is used on animals it is likely that the person know's a vet or lives on a farm (maybe). As i think that it is a bit of a funny drug to have about the house or to buy over the counter. I can't imagine in the UK buying this from a drug dealer either, even though i know you can get ketamine horse tanqulizers from them (as a hallucinogenic i think), and i think even abroad that this would be an odd drug too. So it shouldn't be to hard for the police to figure out.

Hopefully this person or people (there kids, chances are a few peeople knew about it) will be caught and punished and made an example of.

Another thought would be .... Could she have been seeing one of her teachers, after all due to the nature of the drug, i doesn't seem like one many kids would know about.
