Whether you should insist on privacy rights?  

I used to live in a dorm with another 5 girls in the room.
But rarely there were only 5 people in the room because we all had someone. We managed to give ourselves space and intimacy and no one complained about that. Thou it's forbidden here as well for guys to sleep in the girls dormitory and the other way around I wouldn't coplain.
I would probably be the one covering on them and take a stand.

I haven't had much experience of Dorm life myself,but at College I was sometimes in shared room accommodation..thimgs worked out ok when it was a 1:1 ratio and you agreed with Your roommate for some privacy for a while,but I don't think an audience of 5 in the room would be conducive to a romantic evening! Regarding the post...I think it a bit hypocritical of the Uni to be concerned with the infringement of Student rights by on the one hand denying visitors,and on the other Denying the Student's some privacy! But if the roommates were understanding and said nothing,who else outside the room was offended and complained?

Well, it is the case of 'your words against mine!' If her roommates can attest against whoever tipped the other girl, I think she would have a fair chance. The more witnesses she'll have the better chances of her getting out of the rut.

If I was the roommate, I'd probably say I don't know because I was asleep or something.

But then hey, rules are rules, that girl must have some gull eh! And that boy have jeopardized the girl's situation. He should have known better!
