I've had a good experience selling on ebay......  

So far I have had four listings that were bid on...3 of them were clothing and 1 was a brand new coffee pot that I had won on the radio. I got a lot more money out of the used clothing on Ebay than I would've if I had sold it at a yard sale or flea market. I still have a few more items sitting in my office waiting to be listed, but I don't want everything selling on the same day...Can you imagine the load I've have to take to the post office if all my auctions were won!

I would like to get into the wholesale lots that you are talking about. I believe you can make some good money buying things in bulk and then reselling them on ebay. Good luck!

Oh, my do I remember the first time I sold something. I sold dog sweaters, the kind for teddy bears at the craft store... lol. Any way I just couldn't figure the darn thing out.... My sister lives 3000 miles away and sells antiques on eBay. I had to have her log into eBay as me from her computer to make sure I was doing it right....lol Then after I posted the darn thing there were like 3 spelling mistakes... I now had to figure out how to edit it...lol Phew, finally I got my act together and it was good. I sold it and then the next one I used the template I had saved and just made changes and different pictures, etc. I really don't sell too much on there. When I get a bargain like the Dog Purses for small dogs I just bought the last 2 for 3.00 at the store, regular price was 26.99 I am going to list them soon. What I do most....is buy Earth Shoes... I am badly addicted to them since 1972. ...lol I get some really good buys though. I just bought a pair of red leather sandals for 21.99 on eBay. I tried them on in the store in Boston, Ma. and they were on sale for 129.00...I call that a buy...hehe

I also started selling on ebay amost 2 years ago. I tried to sold some DVDs' ladies prom dresses and some other things. But it was not a good experience for me. Because i am in Pakistan and i got orders mostly from U.S.A and U.K. so it costed me huge shipping charges.
And when some of my listing went unsold this was also a loss for me.
So i wanna say ebay is only good for American' British and European sellers.
I am also in favour of this concept that you are using. Buy a lot in cheap price and then sell them seperatly on ebay. This always work for a seller. But i am not in U.S.A. or U.K. so i cannot do it. If i live in these countries then i always do it.

I have been buying and selling on ebay for about a year now and only really had 1 bad experiance ,and that was due to a missunderstanding.I think it is all about honesty on both sides and not trying to be greedy

We've also had a good experience selling of a bunch of our old computer equipment. Now we're selling sets of old magazines, which are going really well. We also sold sone pez that I found and we got a huge rate of return. Collectors seem to be pretty crazy! Seems that job lots of cheap-ish goods and collectables are the best sources of income on ebay.

I have decent results on Ebay. l use to sell about 5 or 6 items a month. l I just have not listed any, but will start listing in the not too distant future. I am happy you are having success so far.

I haven't tried to sell anything on ebay yet, but I'm getting ready to, so your tips will come in useful for me being a beginner there, lol! We are downsizing and will be selling a lot of household items.

It's really great that you are very successful in E-bay. I haven't tried closing a deal there. My only good experience with it was when I bough a deep fryer and a cash register through e-bay. They were second hand items and I am really satisfied with them. The seller and me has a deal to exchange positive comments though since the deal went really well. I did gave her a positive comment but she didn't give me any.

I have put two items, a house and lot and a van up for bidding there but I guess they were too big for a newbie seller.
