we were at walmart today and i wanted to get a smallish cork board for work but then got to looking at a magnetic board...i asked my hubby to scan the price of it and it came up as 10 cents! (the other ones similar were over $5-!)
so ya, sure, i can handle 10 cents...so we took it to the cashier and yup, we paid 10 cents for it! (obviously someone made a goof!) and yes, its in fine shape!
have you ever had such a great bargain in a store like walmart?

Once at the store that I work at we had some cushions and some curtains that matched but were sold seperately, I scanned them both to check the prices and luckily I did as I found out that head office or whoever it is that deals with the prices only got the prices mixed up so the cushions were £19.99 and the curtains were £3.99 so I put them in the back warehouse until the prices were sorted. We rang the other local stores and found out that they didnt check and had sold all the curtains - after all they would have been a bargain!! Whoops....I was so glad that I checked!!

We don't have Walmarts here, but I picked up some shoes which were supposed to be £25 and came up as £3 so I bought them happily. My best bargain ever in terms of shoes!

HA I love it when things like that happen!
We were in the grocery store one time and my husband was going through the cheese like a mad man. After approaching and giving him the What The Heck Is Going On look, he showed me the price on them... Yeah I'd say someone goofed, they were listed at $0.16. We took the cheap ones and left the rest LOL
Once we got to the cash though, the clerk couldn't believe it. She scanned several times and then said, Any More Like That? LOL Noooooo silly, we took 'em all! LOL

Well we don't have Walmart in Trinidad but we have our local stores and stuff. Anyway, one day I went searching for bell peppers! to make some fried rice. Now stuff here is pretty expensive and I kept looking through the bunch of them (they were in bags in 2's and 3's) to see if I found any small ones which I could use at once without any leftover. Well to my surprise I saw a bag that had 2 LARGE bell peppers with a tag saying 3 cents on it...that's like 1/2 a USD cent lol. Well I showed my dad it and he asked me if I use the big peppers. I told him yeah, I'll find a use for the extra one.
We got to the cashier and got it cashed out at the 3 cents
. That is the best deal I have even gotten on something at the grocery! and I used the extra bell pepper to make some yummy lo mien.
