What do you like in the italian language?  

Italian, of course, is called a "romance languge". Since my ancestry on my father's side is Italian, I am very interested in the language also. I went on a trip to Italy in 1973 and did not speak the language. Since I was there for a month, my cousin and I were trying to teach each other Italian and English. We had a lot of fun. After I returned to the U.S. I took Italian in adult school. I took about a year of it. I know quite a bit but am not fluent in it. Now, a lot of the relatives have passed on and there is really no one to speak the language with. I wish there was because I miss hearing it. I have taught my husband several Italian words and sometimes enjoy speaking to him in Italian just to see his reaction and if he can figure out what I am saying. I have a lot more studying of the language to do but continue to enjoy learning it. You may know that Italian and Spanish are very similar. Here in Los Angeles, we have a lot of Hispanic people. Sometimes I try to speak to them in Italian and usually they get the idea of what I mean. It is a great language.

that great, me too, one day, I will learn that.. it's beautiful hot language loll. Me i know spanish pretty the same as italian and that's great, if you want understand or you want that people understand you eitheir if you don't speak itatlian of spanish...

Yes, it's a 'sensual language" aha, with the pronounciation and the life, yes,it's great italian!
