I love to fish and it doesn't matter how or for what as long as it's legal. There is one exception to that rule. NOODLING. Noodling is the process of sticking a perfectly good hand into a hole you cant see into and when the catfish bites down you pull him out. I'll stick to the old fashioned method and use some bait besides myself. Have any of you ever noodled? Would you consider Noodling? If you have, what are some of your worst experiences?

Noodling seems to be a growing fad in the Southeast U.S., jer31558. I, however, will be one that will not be joining that fad. I am afraid that I am not a fan of reaching into a hole, underwater into which I cannot see. I feel there is a very good chance that I won't come up out of that hole. I have seen this done on t.v. and can't believe the size of some of the catfish people pull up, some are bigger than the person. I agree with you, I will use bait other than myself to fish with.
