Sherrif runs sex slave ring out of jail  

I don't know why these people who are getting paid to uphold the law are some of the biggest law breakers. I hope he gets what he deserves and that is a prison sentence. Maybe he will be the one who is on the other end of the forced activities. That would be just.

That is just swful that someone in his position would do this and get away with it for as long as he did. I mean just one day of nobody reporting him is bad enough but he had to be doing this for some time.

It has always perplexed and amazed me that when you watch these prison shows, the talk about the prisoners having access to drugs and booze....has to be an insider supplying it. Are not all civilian visitors searched?
Are the guards corrupt?
There are a lot of corrupt people in positions of power.

This is so repulsive and so sad that a man who was sworn to obey the law and to enforce the law would sell himself to this kind of corruption. This dishonors the other sheriffs and lawmen who do uphold the law and are honest police officers. It also makes most people more leary than ever of a police officer which is just plain awful. We try to teach our children to respect the police and then a morally corrupt man like this sheriff comes along and undos all our work. thirty five felony counts thats just plain sickening. I for one have always praised my law officials for their dedecation and one bad apple in the basket is not going to change that for me. but to a lot of people this will only confirm their distruct of all police. Thats very sad.

I really hate to see people in power abusing it and the people around them.

I am glad he got caught. I hope they throw him into a really tough jail and let him be the one receiving the 'punishment' that he put others through - and hopefully they will keep him in there for the rest of his life. He shouldn't be allowed out. That's my point of view. He has destroyed people, his county's respect for authority etc.

What disgusting behaviour, it sickens me that anyone can do this sort of thing. It is like going back in time to when the 'lord and master' can do anything he likes on his land. Well those days are long gone, thank goodness and so should he be!

This is just another one of those things that shows how many cops are corupt out there. I think they need to be stricter to cops then what they are. Someone told me a story last weekend at work. She said that one of her sons is real dark skinned b/c they have indian in them, and this party was busted, but the only people the cops took in was her son, a black guy, and a mexican. She said that they had her son on the ground beating him, for no reason just to have fun, because they are MONCHO cops. My fiance says that cops that do things like that should be killed. I dont think it should be that drastic, but i do think that when cops overreact they should be discharged, and in some cases sent to jail. But thats not what happens most of the time, they get suspended and then are able to come back to work later. I know that here lately the people that htink the government is trying to turn us into a police state show every footage of stupid cops overreacting or what not and say see proof that they are letting cops beat people. I dont agree with this, but I do agree that it is getting out of hand. In the consitution it says that we as a people can actually arrest cops if need be (or something like that) i dont like this though, and wish it would stop

That is bad, it really is. I cannot believe that these are the people that are in such trustworthy positions. 35 charges though, how comes this was not discovered sooner, surely someone else must have known this was going on.

Corrupt Cops do what they do because they were that little badge that gives them all the power they want, so therefore they abuse it. It's amazing they can beat people to death, or they can use the taser on them and kill them that way and still get away with it all because of a little badge they wear. They don't uphold the law, they bend to their wishes and desires.
