I have had some really stupid dreams Angel.
Once I dreamt my doctor put his hand into my chest and pulled my heart out to show me. then shoved it back in.
Now how stupid is that.

Here is what it says about my recurring house dream.... and pretty much I believe this and it says an awful lot about me.

To see a house in your dream, represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. In general, the attic represents your intellect, the basement represents the unconscious, etc. If the house is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity. If the house is shifting, then it suggests that you are going through some personal changes and changing your belief system.

To dream that you are cleaning your house, signifies your need to clear out your thoughts and getting rid of old ways. You are seeking self-improvement.

If you live with others in your waking life, but dream that you are living alone, suggests that you need to take new steps toward independence. You need to accept responsibilities and be more self-reliant.

To see an old, run-down house in your dream, represents your old beliefs, attitudes and how you used to think or feel. A situation in your current life may be bringing about those same old attitudes and feelings. Alternatively, the old house may symbolize your need to update you mode of thinking.

To see a new house in your dream, indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life.

To dream that your house is broken into, suggests that you are feeling violated. It may refer to a particular relationship or current situation in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that some unconscious material is attempting to make itself known. There are some aspects of yourself that you have denied.

What about a house that has a bucketload of rooms, some very small, some not, and having to go through this house, and having to contort myself into very small and twisted places to get to the next one? I mean like almost being a snake myself, what I have to go through to get into the next room. Or shopping dreams. I have them too, where I'm shopping and shopping, but not finding what I'm looking for. That one's relatively self explanatory, I think. I've had nightmares since I was a child, and poor hubby has had more nights so hugely disturbed, bless his heart for still sleeping with me. I lash out, kick, elbow, holler, scream, laugh, cry, you name it. He's ended up with some bruises from me. I don't know that dreams can be summed up though, so easily. They're so complex and individual and unique to ourselves. And what about the music in my dreams? The soundtracks? What do they books say about that? Nothin, probably. Boy, I would be blown over if there was actually something there about that, lol. But I don't think that I'm gonna be able to read the meaning of that anytime soon. It's interesting to read about dream interpretation, but I think that if we really think about it, we can pretty well explain them for ourselves. Maybe get a little outside perspective, but still, we can usually figure it out, I think. And I also think that we have past life memories in our dreams and that many of our dreams aren't dreams at all, but memories, ancestral memories and as I said, past life memories. I firmly believe in the truth of this. Maybe one day I'll tell you a bit more about that.

nova you mentioned one time that when you are frying chicken, you get a feeling of having done this before and peace, just like this is where you should be, what you should be doing. What I did not tell you is that there are certain things that trigger this in me too. Frying chicken, is not my forte, but other things do it. Sitting on a veranda, Sipping a mint julep saying yes sir, no Mame, smelling wood smoke burning.

One other thing, the sound of the ocean or one of the great lakes, such as Michigan.

Yup, that frying chicken thing gets me every time, oddly enough, Angel. And the rooms! I have a lot of house dreams. Always searching...transitioning...trying to get there...searching, searching, searching.

Thanks for the explanation about houses in dreams. I do see them a lot in my dreams, from small domestic homes to huge palaces and ancient castles.

Well, Angel, we've always said we're sisters and this is yet another proof for us, darlin. How does this happen? How do we meet someone like this? It's karma, it's something from our past lives, I swear, Angel, we must have known each other before, been important in each other's life somehow, ya know? We're supposed to know each other. Maybe one day we'll figure out why. Or maybe we're not supposed to understand the why of it yet. But I do believe it's meant to be, fated, designed, written in the grand plan, call it what you will. My sister. My angelwhispers. My Tammi. My friend.

Very eerie poem Angel. Odd how you were able to compare that poem to your dream. The poem must have brought up some very vivid images for you.

My dream about Brad Pitt was that I punched him in the face....LOL! I think I know exactly what it meant.

It is very weird some of the things we dream.
I always though our dreams were based on things we did during the day.
Some of my dreams have been about things that have happened during the day.
Our minds must be thinking about them while we sleep.

Mmmm...just looked up at that sites about dreams of computers in general...don't exactly agree with it though--here's the interpretation

Yes, Goodie inch worms! Little bitty inch worms. In my dream I have a magnifying glass to catch a better look, but I can't see them, just feel them inching up my leg. Its horrible and I wake up crying out loud. RFLMAO!

my mOm had years of experience,she was a cajan lady and seemed to know so much...I don't even think they had sites back them,with my mOm it was strickly experience...
