I have not rode a bike for quite some time now. I don't have the time or desire to anymore these days. I hardly ever leave the house anyway because I work from home all of the time. The seat isn't very comfortable either.

That's during my childhood. I still remember I went out cycling in the country side with my father. We used to cycling through the woods and bushy land. We feel so good, breathing the fresh air, enjoying the serenity, listening to the chuckling of birds and the churning streams. There used to many abandoned mines and the lakes left by mining activities. Now all these area had been developed into factories and housing estates and we no longer able to enjoy the natural beauty in the past.

I spent four months living in the Netherlands and I had a bike whilst I was there. I used to pack a picnic and cycle out for a whole day along canal paths, past windmills out into the countryside. I got fresh air, fitness, relaxation and saw pretty views of the landscape I was cycling through. I took my bike on a few trains and needed to purchase a ticket for my bike. I came back to my home country and carried on cycling a lot to and from university and to and from work when I became a teacher. When I had a stressful meeting on a Monday I think the cycling I did got rid of any stress. I arrived home feeling in a good mood. I had a pair of cycling panniers that I kept my books and folders in. These days I have a baby and my bike is in my shed. I might look into buying a trailer for him to ride behind my bike.

When I lived in Denver I used a bicycle as my primary mode of transportation. I typically rode a hundred to hundred and fifty plus miles each week. I did my daily commute and errands on the bike and most days would get in around an hour of just cruising. Weekends between April and November would usually include a "fun" ride of around 50 miles.
