What is life all about?

What is the meaning of life? A lifetime is so short that nothing much could be learned or achieve in such a span of time. Consider the milky way, one rotation takes 20 million light years. One human lifetime, even if he were Methuselah is not even a nano-fraction of that one rotation. I think about these things. Am I strange? Am I different? Can life be measured in terms of the amount of money accumulated? In the number of sexual conquests?

Yes,life is too short compare to the long history time.the only thing we can do is to enjoy our lifetime with our family/lovers/friends.and do something could be remarked in history,that is better,anyways,if not,just do what we could do

I think that life is just long enough. I would not want to live forever, an old doddering idion with no more use for the community. Being short, we eventually learn to treasure it (life) and learn (hopefully) to make the best of it.

We have all met happiness and unhappiness in the course of our lives. It is just that after a while life becomes predictable and you fall into a routine which can be predicted. I long for something different, something mystical even. Like the song goes,"I've seen fire and I've seen rain".
