Cracker Barrel cooks for me tonight  |

|  I got their rib eye steak and while it was only 10 ounces, I have to say right now it covered my plate, coupled with a baked potato and a salad and some bread and 3 glasses of tea, I was stuffed without eating much of the steak, so my cat is gonna have some surf and turf tonight....
she made me feel guilty for missing her snack last night, so she is down here and letting know she is here,
But for tonight Cracker Barrel did the cooking for us, my husband forgot to take something out of the freezer, and we had 4 hungry kids, Cracker barrel is one of the best deals around and a great family style restaurant.
And then my daughter came home and made brownies for every one for dessert.
When was the last time someone else (restaurant) did the cooking for you?

| |  Last month, I took my hubby to the Sizzler for dinner. It was an apology for being nasty to him on a bad hair day.
The salad bar is always terrific here, and the steak was enough to feed me for 2 meals. No kidding...I came home with the next days lunch too. Can't beat that! And Hubby loved his fish and fries.
It felt wonderful to leave the table, AND the dishes...lols

| |  Last night we went out to eat as well. Cracker Barrel is a great place to eat and it's affordable. I love their chicken and dumplins. They are great. And their country fried steak.

| |  Yesterday afternoon actually. For my birthday dinner we went to a place called Olympia in St. Louis and I got a Gyro. It was really good and I did have some leftovers. Well, my son did not finish his Gyro, so I took it back with us and I finished his later.

| |  Do Cracker Barrel deliver Mooch, or do you go there and dine in.
We have no restaurant's anywhere near us.
When we do not cook, we have golden fried chicken and chips.
It is the only decent take away food around here for quite a few miles.

| | they do not deliver, but you can get it to go ......
And they are really good, although my family and I did not like their meatloaf, they used jalepeno peppers in it, and we are not a pepper or spicy food family. We ate for about 10.00 a person there tonight, and they have a 6 person to go meal for 50.00 feeds six and includes 2 sides.

Especially the $50.00 for 6 people.
You couldn't get better then that.
The chicken and chips we get is $6.00 each and all you get is 2 small pieces of chicken and a few chips.
My partner said to eat out in America was cheap.
He was there for 3 weeks and ate out instead of in the hotel. | | | |

| |  Hey Mooch :))) So glad you enjoyed your dinner. Hope that means you are getting over your surgery fairly well. Two weekends ago, my husband took me out for crab legs, seafood buffet. We had a great time. With gas prices and groceries rising every day, getting to go out for good dinner is a luxury. It was nice.

| |  hi mooch Healthy choice did the cooking for me tonight with fish fillet and greenbeans and rice and a cherry apple dessert but evidently as it was a local thing I am now having an attack of low blood sugar with the shaking and the the tingling lips darn and just when I was getting to mylot quota for today. I am going to have to go and eat something before I just sort of passout sorryabout this. bye.mooch.

| | It is not often I have an answer for this but last night hubyy did the cooking. How great is that? We do go out to a resturant once in awhile and we have pizza delivered on occassion but rare does hubby do the cooking. It was just my thing. I love finger food. He made barbecued chicken wings, baked potatoes skins made just perfectly and baked nachoes. I did make avacado dip to go with the sour cream and salsa but thats it. He even clean up afterwards; it was just great. A nice break for me! | | | | | | |

| | I forgot to say; once when we were in Florida on holiday my hubby took me to one of his favorite resturants. It turned out to be Cracker Barrel! Do all Cracker Barrel Resturants have a gift shop? I thought this one had the cutest gift shop. I didn't buy much but my favorite thing I did buy was toothpicks.
