Los Angeles Lakers versus Denver Nuggets  

i think the los angeles lakers take this series. initially, i thought that denver has a chance of upsetting the lakers but after watching the first game, i've changed my mind. denver can match up with the lakers' scoring and athleticism but their waterloo will be their defense. denver hardly plays any defense and surely, kobe, gasol, odom, and the rest of la can exploit this.

i think lakers win this in 5 games. denver's greatest chance in getting a win is in game 3. after that, it'll be lakers all the way.

unless denver plays any defense in game four, los angeles will sweep the nuggets. sad to say, but the presence of anthony, ai, camby, and k-mart, are not enough to off-set the performance that bryant is churning out in this series.

lakers dominating the nuggets in both ends of the court. if denver, by any mirale, manages to win game four, expect the lakers to clinch the series with a blow-out win in game five.

lakers sweep the nuggets in 4 games. i wish it was golden state that made it instead of this denver squad. at least, golden state would have made the series against los angeles more interesting.

do i think golden state upsets los angeles? no. however, i think golden state would have put up a better effort and won perhaps a game or two against the lakers.
