 Hello friends, With birthday no# 50 a couple of days away you know how we tend to start thinking about the things we never got to do or never got to accomplish in life, you know those "If I would've, could've, should've" then we start to feel a little Unappreciated.
Well right in the middle of all that deep thought the doorbell rings, I answer it and it's UPS with a package.
from my friend and yours "Dramaqn" (she's such a sweetheart) and I open it and its a Digital camera/w photo Dock. and I felt all "warm and tingly" inside, LOL. It just goes to show that "Friends do the darnedest things" Don't get me wrong (I LOVE GIFTS) but with me it is the though that counts. and the fact that a friend whom I've never had the pleasure of meeting face to face "YET" who lives hundreds of miles away reached out to say "I am appreciated" before those who I deal with everyday just feels special. To all my mylot friends This is to let you all know, (if you haven't been told lately) YOU ARE LOVED, YOU ARE APPRETIATED, AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT! and dramaqn Thank you again, Love you much

Breath (1510) | 5 months ago |  I have had many friends here on mylot that touches my mind and opens my heart each day.Mylot is a beautiful site full of warm friendly people.I have a few of those special friends also that go out of their way just to make sure I am ok...Some of the people I have met here on mylot have went across the screen in thought and spirit to touch my very heart.Sounds like you have made a very beautiful friendship...Friends are friends even if it is across the miles through a screen they still touch us somehow through the magic of love...Also have a wonderful 50 birthday!!!!

Hopefully you and dramaqn will get the chance to meet in person..and what a nice gift she bought for you, that was very kind of her. You are correct, there are some really great people on mylot!

LOL we are already talking about her coming to visit Chicago so I'm planning show her some of our sights, LOL she says the first thing she wants to do is take a picture in front of "Buckingham fountain" (the one that you see on the tv show "married with children") she's so crazy.

Your right about friends being such special people, we all need them in our lives. I hit the big 50 this past January and felt the same way you do but we need to look at our age as a sign of wisdom, experienced with many of life's lessons learned and hopefully a mentor for the young people who we can help along the way. Happy Birthday my friend, enjoy your special day!
