What do you prefer, a male or a female boss?  |

 After having in different jobs male and female bosses I think I prefer male bosses. In general they tend to be a bit more tolerant and they let you more do things in your own way. Women tend more to control you and pay more attention to little details, perhaps because in some enviroments with lots of people under them, women feel they have to make more pressure on employess to reinforce their authority. I also got this opinion from some female coleages working with me. What's your experience?

2.  saundyl (1777) | 4 months ago |  I prefer the male bosses as well. The ones i've had in the past have been more tolerant of mistakes and not having control of a situation. The female bosses I've had have all had very controlling..scary personalities and were nitpicky about details so i was never completely comfortable in the work place.
My current boss sometimes has no clue whats going on. Its kind of amusing me and the other girl i work with basically run things.

personally....I would hate to have me for a Boss. ( Fortunately that's not an issue ) I tend to be Competitive ( more then necessary )
I love working with Males in General.
Noone gets upset if you pass -wind! Or Burp or well...you get the Idea.
I'm pretty easy going, But I know my personality would Change Dramatically if I were put In Charge.
Not that I crack the whip, or anything.....I have no problem getting down in the trenches too, But.....I am a pusher. I will push the job....Untill all are exhausted, and I'm the Last One Standing!

BYOLA2871 (1277) | 4 months ago |  its been some years now that i was in paid employment last,but i remember working under a female administrator then and she was very rude has no respect for anyone,i handled hercright because i never gave her any reason to see me as lazy but in all i prefer to work with a man as boss women can transfer their emotions to those under them at work when under pressure,men are more tolerant and can control their moods better
