Im going to treval to China 2008,so I decided to start learning Chinese. But I do not know how to start. How to arrange my study plan?The Vocabulary, Sentence, Grammar, Pinyin, Conversation, Writing and Characters... Do I need to learn all of them?

Pinyin--After you leart them, you can read the Chinese word with Pinyin and help you to understand what's people's talking.
Words and their meaning--help you to understand.
Easy grammar--sentence--conversation; after you finished these studying, you can talk with Chinese people now,I think it's enough for your travelling.^-^
