I got to Think if John Deacon was part of Smile or Joined with Freddie not at the same Time. Freddie is from Zanzibar & His Name is Fereque Bulsara, I think the Spelling is Correct. In 1973 Queen was formed & the Band did some Music under the Name Larry Lurex a Pun on Garry Glitter. They did the Songs I can Hear Music & Going Back. Mr Mercury Friends at School gave Him the Name Freddie & He used it ever Since. Freddie is Trained in Classical Piano & a College Graduate, I think Roger Taylor also a college Graduate knew Freddie from School. I Guess they did a Demo & Electra/Asylum Records Signed the Band after hearing the Demo & the Rest is Rock History. Freddie I Think Sung with other Bands in England as Zanibar was under British Rule & Influence.
