Does drinking of alcohol is a bad habbit?

Alcohol is usual drink of a lot of people....but is it a harmful to people who r using everyday......one of our church priest said tat it will destroy our family....how?

drinking can become a bad thing especially if they drink all the time. And when people get drunk things can happen that shouldn't. I have a friend who has a dad who drinks allot and when he gets drunk he criticizes his kids and makes them feel like dirt.
