your fight?

I was a freshman in high school. There was this boy who I hate to say it but he liked me. But oh, how I hate to even just see him. One day he sat on my chair. I flared up and told him to leave. He smiled and said, "please let me sit." It made me boiling mad ever! I got my book and smashed it on his head. He got up and looked at me very angrily. After class he met me in the corridor and said, "Let's have a fist fight later after school outside the gate!"
I thought it was amusing. A boy challenging me for a fist fight?
