Man gets shot 50 times by NYPD police officers on his wedding day..  

Sad but true. My heart goes out to his fiance' & his family. It's just so tragic & sad. Then to make matters worse the cops that were responibly for his death get away with it free & clear. Thats like adding salt to an open wound. They may have escaped justice through the leagal system, but they will not escape God's justice. Untill then, I will keep his family & friends in my prayers.

You are right... Thats all we can do... You cannot really fight for justice because it will only make you one of them. As you said God will eventually punish or reward us for the way we have lived our lives!!

Not all cops are the same. I am sure there are still a few good honest cops left out there. It's sad though that the very ones that we look to for protection could shoot anyone of us & get away with it just because they have a badge. I thought things like this only happened on TV. Is anyone really safe anymore?

I can understand how you feel. True we have it a lot better here then many other countries, but when things like this happen it makes me realise that no country is perfect & only God Himself can really protect you & give you true freedom.

These are the law enforcement officers who have given their life to protect you. When did you hear about on of them? It is not news worthy. The media sees them as the bad guys and bullys.

Most of what you said is true. I agree that Policemen put their lives on the line for us everyday. I respect Policemen & I never said their job was an easy job. I can also understand how they had to shoot him to defend themselves. What I cannot understand is why they shot him 50 times. Thats where I get confused. As for the rioting & violent demonstrations, I do not encourage this at ALL. Violence never solved anything in this world. In fact it only makes things worse. So if I gave the impression that I not only agreed with these acts but condoned them as well, then I apologize because I do not in any way agree that this will solve any problems ever.

I agree. They should lose their badges. Like I said in an earlier post, I can understand if they had to shoot to defend themselves, but what I can't & don't understand is why they felt the need to shoot this man 50 times. That makes no sense to me at all.
