I was mostly sarcastic and a bit of a smart talker, but the instructors handled that fairly well. The few detentions I received were for things like being late.

| | 2.  Malyck (1701) | 4 months ago |  I've had a couple of "sport detentions", which is basically a "punishment" for not bringing your sport uniform, so you sit in a classroom and finish school work, read or they give you question sheets to complete.
For people like me who aren't overly sporty, it was definitely not a punishment.
I've never had a detention for bad behaviour though.

| Malyck (1701) | 4 months ago | Yeah, there are some limitations, and it depends on what teacher you have for sport, as well.
We have a "sport uniform" at our school, but really, we only have to bring a change of clothes for hygiene reasons, and a lot of kids can't afford or don't want to spend money on the extra uniform, but some teachers send them to detention all the same, which is definitely unfair.
But some teachers don't mind if you don't get changed at all - it kind of depends on the sport you're doing. Some have specialised equipment, so obviously you can't go to surfing if you didn't bring your board...
But yeah, sometimes it's really unfair, like boys who just wear some boardshorts and a different shirt, and they get in trouble, when it is technically a change of clothes. | |

It was to the point where I was so depressed, all I wanted to do was slit my wrists than go to class. I went to class - biology - and this football player, Nick, said something rude to another girl in the class, named Michelle. I thought he was talking to me, because our names are very similar. I was already not having a great day, and sick and tired of everyone's crap, and was already contemplating taking my life. He was just like one of those last little annoyances that send you RIGHT over the edge - so I hauled off and knocked him flat on his A$$ - totally caught him off guard. (I'm only 5' 2".) He was at least 6' tall, and tubby at that! I ended up getting suspended.

| | 5.  CardboardWaves (292) | 3 months ago |  I wasn't a trouble maker in school. I was in JROTC for the Air Force and I forgot (didn't want to LOL) to wear my uniform a few times. Just a 30 minute dentention. If you had a study hall you and serve it at that period if you couldn't stay after school. I didn't really mind because I really like talk to my Sergeant and hearing all his stories. He try and not talk, but I make him!:)
