Do you have an instrument that you play?

We have a guitar..and i used to practice it before. I know basics..But its been a long time that i didn't try it again. So, i dont know if can still play it.

I like to make poems and i love poetry..so its my motivations to learned to play with it. With a motivation that i want to compose a song..But i failed.. So i think im just not that interested in instruments.

I play the piano. I have been playing for 24 years now and I never took any lessons. I am able to play just about anything I hear (playing by ear). When I was young my father would play his guitar (still does) and every so often try to figure out a tune on the keys as well. After watching and listening to him do this, I started to figure things out on the keys myself and it's something that I stuck with over the years.

I have been playing the piano since I was 6. I play a little by ear, but I mostly enjoy learning new (and difficult) pieces. Unfortunately there's not much time to do that now that I've got my daughter around.

I also play the flute, I started when I was 12. I don't have much time to practice that either, but when I used to practice daily I was pretty good.

Yes! I play the drums as well as the bass guitar (and sometimes the accoustic guitar). I am most proficient in playing the drums. I have been playing the drums since I was 13 years old (for about 4 and a half years or so now). I got a drum set for my 13th birthday, and have been playing ever since! Though, I do need a new drum set as the one I have is still a beginner Westbury kit. I have been playing bass guituar for maybe around 2 years .. But for real for the last few months. I have an Ibanez and I find it pretty nice .. And ideal for slap-pop!

Oh and by the way .. My dad was the one who got me started, in theory. In reality .. Its only because he has a bass and I would play it sometimes. Really, the person who got me to start playing the bass guitar was LES CLAYPOOL!:)

No I dont play anything. I wish I could. If I could I would play the piano. I have the long fingers for it. But I've never really looked into lessons. I've tried the guitar but I'm no good at it!. What do you play?

I play the drums, the piano and a bit of guitar and violin.
My whole family plays instruments so i started liking it straight away. I started of with the violin which is a brilliant instrument and continued my way up.

I've played a couple of instruments over the years but due to lack of time these days don't really play any of them at the moment.

Started out on the keyboard in Primary School, after the person who the school had coming in to teach us (it was an optional lesson done in lunch times once a week at an additional cost) went MIA. I took up the Organ at a local piano/organ school. Learnt that on and off throughout high school and university.

In highschool I also leant the clarinet and played in the school band. My family was rather insistent on playing in the band, so I picked the second cheapest instrument, as the flute didn't particularly interest me.

At one stage in high school I also brought a cheap classical guitar to teach myself. Despite all the other instruments i only ever really really wanted to play the guitar (not approved by family obviously.) Taught myself on and off for about a year but I had too many other commitments and it ended up fading away. One day... One Day...

I have been playing guitar since secondary school. But I do not play so well because my finger are not long enough. Besides, I play harmonica and flutes too. But really, I just know the basics only and do not get excellent in any of these. For me, it's just for pass time and self entertaining sometimes. It could help me to achieve serenity within my mind.
