i have done 6 campaigns but was never able to cover the cost of the books.I needed to reach a higher profit level to cover that.I would have carried on but this time I did not get a single response.I cant just keep on wasting money and my hubby is the only one earning.So now i have left Avon.
Yes their products are good and cheap too but it didnot go well with me.

I get that way too. I spend too much but then again I spend too much at Walmart when I go. I just need to stop shopping which isn't happening any time soon.

I like Reese so I think that was a smart advertising campaign on the part of Avon. People like her and her attitude. I would kill for an Avon goodie bag that would be nice!:)

The goodie bags are ok, but you never know what you get in them and if you get clothing in it, it might not be your size!! My friend who had a goodie bag gave me the bra that came in it as it was way too small for her but lucky for me it was my size!!!

I've gotten to where anything I need, I will go to My Points first adn see if they have the store there. If it is, I buy there and collect the points. If not, then I go elsewhere, but I always check there first. I wish Amazon.com would be one of their stores! But Amazon.com is not on any of these kinds of programs!

I was wondering if the lotion was good enough to use for people like us. I use it at home but I never even think to bring it to my clinicals with me. I think I will from now on...That sterile hospital soap dries hands out like nothing I have ever seen. Ughhh...Cheap soap will do it everytime~

The only thing I regularly buy from Avon as it is literraly like magic, is the Care Deeply Aloe Chapstick. I am telling you that stuff is great! And things like this don't work on my like they do other people, but this stuff - my skin/lips are so dry all the time (Southern CA with the winds, fires and smog!) and I put Care Deeply on my lips at night and by morning, they are moist. I use it off and on during the day and can litterally feel a moisturizing difference! I have even put it on scraps (cause of the aloe) and it has helped them not get so dry and cracky! I watch for it to be 99¢ and then buy 10 and that lasts me about 6 months, and I buy more! I just bought a bunch for the Grand daughterr - not care deeply, but marshmallow, watermellon, chocolate and butterscotch flavors and those are great too - love the marshmallow and thy were on sale for 69¢. I was going to order it via My Points, but had already told this lady at my bank that I chat with when i go oin, and already told her I'd buy from her, so I had to keep that word to her, but next time....My POints!

Well actually when you become an Avon Representative, they will give you a log in code for the internet and you can do all your orders online it's so much more organized now than it was years ago when aunt bea was selling it in the 70's haha! Just kidding I really don't have an Aunt Bea.. I was just comparing the times lol!
Anyhow... they will also send you an email to send to your contacts from your email and they are pretty much online brochures to send out to your online friends. I forgot to mention about this before until you said about how you could send friends to your website!

I have been selling Avon for a year. I am making decent money at it. I am a SAHM so it gives me gas money so I don't always have to ask. It only costs $10 to start which is very inexpensive to start your own business. The first 2 months you get 50% off which is a great deal. If you just order for you and your friends it still makes you some money. I leave brochures everywhere I go. Doctors office, gas station, everywhere. Every little bit helps. The products come right to your door so you don't have to pick them up. Also, you can get a website and then the products go straight to your customers doors. You do nothing. You must get your Avon orders sent to you by postal. I didn't have that option it was just sent to me through the buslines and I would have to go pick up my orders. There were too many complications for me hense the reason I had to quit. Maybe if I move into a city I can start up again.

Aw how i envy you girl.I did the very same but in all my six camop I got only 2 orders each.I posted as many as 60 books,everytime in different lanes so more and more people know that there is a rep around them but no one seems to be interested in Avomn here!!Anyways i am not going to each house and knock at their doors.So now i have left it.I get the boxes on time delivered to my house but not the products Always something or other thing is missing.It has been 3 months one customer is waiting for her ring!!

I'm suprised no one was interested in Avon, I feel that when I would go around all different areas in my old town I would leave the brochures in their mailboxes and Avon would pretty much just sell itself. I would never have to go to their doors unless I was dropping off their orders.
There were occasions where I didn't get what I orders but it would come with the following ones and sometimes they didn't come at all. Depending on how much of a high demand the product was.
When I moved out here in the country, I noticed that there was a huge decrease in my Avon business! Nobody has mailboxes out here and only one post office would let me leave brochures there. When I did make orders it would come on a bus and I would have to go pick it up and everytime I did all of the orders would not come together or it was shipped to the wrong place. It really made me angry.

How nice of you to write back.Well I just got my first order from my neighbour.So it happens but not all the time.It is very funny when you had enough of something and you no more want it,it will keep comming back at you.I hope as I am doing this campaign things really change for the better.
As I have one more business through Avon I meet new people whom I can involve into my new business and that brings new customers too.

I know what you mean cool, all the girls at work are bugging me to start Avon again as I was the only one that sold it there but I keep telling them that if I move back into town I may start again.
