smoking a good idea

Its like that here in Chicago too. No smoking in any public buildings. I am not a smoker and honestly, i enjoy going into a restaurant and being able to enjoy my meal without second hand smoke. I do see your point about the bars though. I wonder if the bar's business has suffered due to the ban. What I do think is carzy,is all the talk about banning smoking in personal automobiles. I think that would be too far.

I love the laws that have recently been made in regards to public smoking. I cannot stand the smell of cigarettes or cigars, and I know that secondhand smoke is just as bad (if not worse) than actually being the smoker. Before the laws, it was not fair to the non-smokers, people allergic to smoke, and children who occasionally had to breath in cigarette smoke while dining out or being in any public place. Now with these laws in place, we can all enjoy cleaner air!
