How would you describe the feeling of love?

Love is something.....which cannot be described in words....

you prove it by the dedication loyalty his dilimmes that you bare being strong when he needs it by sharing yourself w/ him but treating him with respect by making it a our,we thing versus a me mine thing...thats how you prove it
this is also how i would describe it...caring that much being a part that big that what your partner goes thru you do to what they need you try to give wanting them to be happy to do right by them....i come go on and on but you get the picture

In school we were taught that you do not have to "prove" your love! Either the other person can feel the love or you show your love by the things that you do and say to the other person! There is no way to prove it and you should not have to, men seem to say that and it is too bad! Love is a feeling like anger, if you say, "I am angry" who in the world says "prove it"!

In my case, whenever I say I love you to a person, I feel like giving a part of myself to that person, whether it is my boyfriend or my parents or my best friend. The feeling is so not selfish, and for that particular moment I feel like alive inasmuch as I feel like living a few years more just for that person.=) Proving you love a person need not that be difficult since it will just require genuine care and affection towards that person. It may not always be physical through mushy things but just on a simple care, respect for that person and just simply by means of just being there in case where the other person is in his or her lowest moment.=)

There are many ways to express your love for someone.. The things you do for each other.. The way you feel when your with that person.. Some times actions speak louder than words.. Anyone can say the words but its how that person makes you feel and visa versa that says it all. Your actually proving it everyday by building a life together.. being there for each other through good times and bad.. doing things for each other.. Your spouse should be more that just your spouse.. he's your partner & your best friend.. And I'm sure you show him everyday

for me love feels like both a punch and a hug at the same time. its that little spirt that gets you up in the morning, and thinking wow i get to see her/him today.
i think the best way to 'prove' your love for you husband would be to just say to him 'ask me that question in another 20 years'

proving your love can mean many things like little love letters when they least expect it,hugs kisses all the little and big things to let them know they exist and that they are important i think i get lost in to words also and how to express it i know i feel it but to explain it its sorta hard also

For me the feeling of love is Joy..Great Joy and Peace. I tell my kids I love them always and hearing them say it to me is joy. I tell my husband those words as well and feel good about it. It gives me the feeling of fulfillment to say it to a person I love and care about.

Love is a feeling that is hard to describe and you were right when you say that there's a different ways on saying I love you. One of the most important is to show it by action. In that way you are also proving your love to your partner. Like in my case, I am proving my love to my husband by being his wife, friend, confidant, adviser, critic or any relationship that you could possibly think of. I also give him all my trust and loyalty.

You knw mrsfrodotata, you don't have to think so much of complicated things just to prove your love. Even simplest things like asking him "how's your day?" "Have you eaten?" could be a proof that you love him. You wouldn't worry, think or care for him if you don't love him.

Love is one of the most difficult things to describe.

Proving one's love can only be done through actions. Like taking care of someone when they're ill, doing something considerate like cooking them a lunch for when they go to work the next day, opening the door for them. Leaving them little special things to find -- at random. Like notes, or handmade presents.

All these things are just a handful of ways you can express love to someone...each thing really doesn't measure up to the extentyou love a person.

The ultimate way to express love would be in life or death situations, when you risk your own life to protect theirs.

Love is not something that can be quantified or measured.
Actions can only do so much, and the same goes for words, but we all do our best, heh.
