 I was at the shops today and incidentally i bought tings worth about the equivalence of $350 and i gave the lady at the till about $400 i got to my car and was about to give the guy at the park some tips and discovered i was given about $300 in change by the lady,i went back and handed back to her,she at first was rude so i satyed till she was free and i told her why i cam eback,she looked up at me and a tear dropped from her eye,and she said sorry and thank you,and she said just last week she mad e same mistake and of course it was deducted form her pay packet,i was happy i made that decision to return the money and at leats make her happy,if it were you what would you do?

Good for you! I most definitely would have given it back as well.
Heck, I even went back into a store a couple of weeks ago when I realized that an item we were going to buy was left underneath something else and wasn't paid for. I think it was about a $2-$3 item but I didn't care; it was the principle of it.
If that woman made a big mistake like that twice, I think she needs to find a different line of work!

That's such a sweet story. I have never been so lucky to get that much back in change.
I have gotten a ten dollar bill extra once from when I had bought some food and didn't check my change till I got back to work. I really should check right away more often though. A girl actually gave me five dollars short once elsewhere and she was aware of it too! Because when I went back to tell her she just gave it to me without any arguments or questions...
Anyway back to what I did with the ten dollars. Well our boss has a cleaner working there and she pays her such a small amount of money...but the lady has no choice but to work there as she didn't get a proper education when she was younger and it would be hard for her to get a job. Well it so happened that she didn't have breakfast that day and it was already lunch time and she was hungry, so I took the ten dollars I got and bought her something to eat with it and brought it back to work for her (btw 10TTD is a little less than 2USD)
Well she was very grateful and I don't know why, but soon after that, when I was traveling home and gave the driver my money and was waiting for change, he gave me an extra 5 dollars back but he already drove off before I even counted my change.
