Will you switch off your Mobile.?

As you I also keeps my mobile in silent mode if i want.
But some times it is neccessory to switch off the mobile phone.For example in the time of Exam they do not allow to keep our mobile in silent mode.We have to give the phone to them as switched off.And there is some offices that says to switch off our mobile phone.
When i am sleeping i dont make it switch off.As you said i keep it in silent mode

Hi there, I am used to switch off my cell phone before going to bed so as to prolong the life span of the battery. I don’t have to worry if there is any urgent call as I still have my land phone in my house. Of course I will switch off my mobile when traveling in the plane or watching movie in the cinema. I usually will shift my cell phone to silent mode when I am in the conference.

I do switch off my Mobile at some times . Sometimes;I switch it off during some Nights .Occasionally;I switch it off during my important Office Meeting .

At other times;I put it on Silent Mode .

I never switch off my mobile except for one circumstance. When i am running out of battery charge in my mobile and i know my parents would be calling me then i switch off my mobile because i know i wont be in a position to talk to them properly ad that would upset them. So i switch off my mobile and rather call them back sometime later.
In other circumstances, i prefer keeping my mobile on silent rather than switching it off. When i was in college i used to keep my mobile silent whenever i would go to attend lectures. If i would have to avoid someone's call, then i would rather not pick it up and pretend to be busy rather than switching off the mobile.
I would keep the mobile silent:
i) When i would be in a meeting
ii) When i am at home and i dont want my family members to notice my private calls(bcoz it happens many a times that friends are used to call at late nights so i dont want my family members to notice that)
iii) Attending some important lecture or conference

i am similar like you... i hardly switch off my mobile... i switch it to silent mode when i am in a church, working, sleeping or don't want to be disturbed... i just look at the miss call after that and call back the person who call me...

I never shut off my phone because my mom is 86 and I never know when she would call and need something.
I will hit ignore on the phone if it is someone that I don't want to talk with or can't.
I will also put my phone to vibrate if I am at the doc's office and the rare chance that I goto the movies, I will put it so there is no sound from anything on the phone.
I also have 4 boys that at times it is hard to tell what they would get into if I am not home. They are teens, but they call me for everything.

I never switch off my mobile .
Yea some time I keep it in silent mode, when I go to class or I don't want to receive call from someone/anyone .

Hi There. I honestly don't switch my phone off but whenever I am at the office, meeting or watching movies, I put it vibrate mode so I can still know if someone really tries to reach me or received an important message.

I switch my mobile off when I am driving, it is illegal in the UK to use a mobile while driving. I also switch off at the movies as it is rude and incosiderate to others and I also make sure my phone is off at the doctors or the hospital too.

i don't really switch off my mobile phone unless it is battery empty and need to be charged. if i can't answer a phone call cause i'm travelling or in the church or meeting, i just set it in silent mode so i can still receive calls, my voicemail is activated so they can just leave messages and i will just call them back later when i'm not busy anymore. i just don't want to miss important calls from friends and family.
