Why do you learn English?

When I was still in school we didnt have a choice when we were 10 years old it meant starting to learn English whether you like it or not.
I am one of these people who have always had special interest in the English language and have liked a lot to learn it.
In fact it has been my fave subject at school, next to English and religion.

Hi! I agree with most of the people who voted. English really is a useful tool and it comes more into communications. since more and more people nowadays have can understand English then there wont be any misunderstandings in the field of communication. All of the things that you mean and the things that you wanted to say. you can say it without having to grasp and look for the words just so the other person or other people can get what you are trying to say. Most countries nowadays have english as their second language and since more people are using it then it is best if you learn at least the basics of it just to connect with other people. English is used all over the world and in different aspects. It is very useful in business. How can you convince a person to buy a produc tor service if all you can do is show or mime what you really mean, right?^_^

English is a world language and i started to learn it because it's useful,but now language has become my interest,and i'm becoming more and more interested in different cultures.
I'm currently learning english and spanish,and planning to learn german and french in future,
