Oh My Gosh,This Commercial Makes Me Cry

hi anhedonia, you must be canadian!that commercial runs here on a hamilton station in ontario. it is so terrible what cruel things are done to animals and our fellow man all over the world. i hope animal cruelity is viewed with the respect it deserves. we are all creatures on this planet and we need to respect each other, wether we are furr or fleshy. sarah mclachlan is a beautiful artist. her songs carry so much passion.

You are right this commercial is touching. I don't outright cry, but it does pluck my heartstrings. I try to laugh it off by imitating Sarah McLachlan as if she were yawning through the song, but it never works. I always fall silent and look at the animals eyes. Some seem like they are actually crying. Others you want to cry for because you can see in their faces how bad they were treated. Yes, I know exactly what feeling you are talking about this commercial gives.

I don't want to see it, because I would cry. I cry whenever I am touched by sadness.. and animals suffering makes me suffer with them. I hate to see it.

I have seen that commercial and I agree with you completely, you are absolutely right, it is so sad and it makes me want to go out and bring all those animals home to my place. As a child I always wanted a farm so I could do just that.

My wife gets upset everytime she sees that commercial, the song alone does it for her. The poor animals just add to the saddness.

I did not see that particular one but I sawone for the abuse of baby seals that showed men clubing the cute little seals just for the skins greedy monstersl that left me in tears and I signed a pledge to help save baby seals and I do hope it works.

OMG Anhedonia, first thing I need to say is that song is what makes me think of my brother, I kind of feel like it is his theme song It was very popular and playing on the radio every other day when he died, he was 35 and died alone in a prison in florida non of us knew where he was and had not heard from him in well over a year...

So just hearing the song makes me cry, then add the abused animals.. and I am a heap of tears and emotions.

Hi Anhedonia,
I know the commercial and I mute it every time I can get the remote! I can't listen to that song. It reminds me of the day my Aunt passed away. My daughter sang it to her and well, that's why I can't listen to that song it will make me cry but for those reasons, not because of the animal shelter.

I do hope those animals get help though. It is sad to see those eyes staring at you.
