Why can't I paste anything here?  |

 When I try to paste something, such as an address I copied, a window opens saying only a user with a rating of over 500 can paste.
How do I find out my rating, and how can I get my rating up to 500?

2.  sisterjinx (937) | 2 years ago |  It's the amount of posts you have done. It's that number next to your name. You have to have 500 posts before you can paste anything here.
At each level something new opens up. Like at 200 you can use the emoticons. You can add those little smiley faces to your posts using the mylot code link to the left of this box. When you hit 500 you can add pictures to your responses and you can paste things. I'm not sure about the other levels and what opens up but this is what I have learned thus far.

3.  qdietz (224) | 2 years ago |  also they instaured this because if they did not many new users would copy paste huge blocks of text. This would effectively bring their revenue up withought them doing much.
I think mylot should let users with under 500 posts copy paste small links, or at least links that have a bunch of random set of characters. Till then use tinyurl: http://www.tinyurl.com
