2) The tannic acid in teabags absorbs oil from pimples. Saturate a teabag in warm water and then press on the affected area for 10 minutes
3) Use a mud mask for deep cleaning
However, prevention is the best!
This means washing 2x a day, keep skin routines simple if possible.
Cut down on fatty, greasy foods and instead eat fresh fruit and veg. Drink 1.5-2 litres of water a day and be healthy!

2.  sisco100 (990) | 6 months ago |  well for one eating fatty foods dont help. there are many ways do get rid of them but it all different for every one. personaly i just wash my face every day with a face cleaning products tht have like beeds or something like tht. it helps remove dead skind and dirt. i know tht being in a steam room or putting u face near steaming water helps cuz it opens ur pours and it makes it easier to get the dirt and oil out out ur pours. other then tht i dont know wht else u can really do. i know tht those acne pads really dont work tht well. it dries out ur skin.

| 3. Laurenn (17) | 6 months ago |  I've had quite a few problems with acne in the past and I find the best treatment is Benzoyl Peroxide cream, you can usually get it over the counter or your doctor can prescribe it. It dries out pimples which means they disappear faster.
If you're having a lot of problems with it you can usually get put on antibiotics which can clear up your skin!

| 4. bloodhunter13 (173) | 6 months ago |  wash your face but don't overdo it. too dry will actually cause breakouts. do the regular wash-tone-moisturize regime. get rid of your make up thoroughly if you put heavy make up.
use over-the-counter products. tons of stuff to fit your need and budget. not all cheap stuff won't work, not all expensive stuff will. ask friends what is good and what is not but keep in mind everybody is different so what works on others probably is not for you (might cause breakouts. ironic, huh?)
get a prescription. this is the best thing to do especially if you have bad pimple problems. but this is also usually more costly than over-the-counter products.
traditional(?) ways:
- cut a garlic and rub the juice on your pimple. may sting a bit
- dab a little toothpaste on the pimple. may sting and/or cause discomfort due to the strong minty smell near your face (especially if the pimple is right on your upper lip)
- dab some tea tree oil
- put your hands away from your face!!!
avoid unnecessary make up when you are facing with acne problems. if you need to, keep it minimal!!! e.g. if you need to go to the store across the road and you know that cute guy will be there, it is not necessary to put layers of make up to cover that one spot and clog your skin just to look perfect for 5 minutes. if it really shows, get a tinted acne cream to reduce the appearance of that very red spot
use lukewarm water if you want to 'open your pores'. always use cool/lukewarm or lukewarm/warm water. don't use warm/hot water. it will strip the skin's moist and make your skin oily
use mild scrub if you really feel you need to scrub your face when you have breakouts. avoid scrubs if necessary. use something with clay/kaoline (facial wash/mask) to absorb oil

If you use any type of face wash/scrub, or apply soap to your face when taking a shower, STOP!!...I have not used any type of face wash/soap in the past couple of years and my face is radiant and acne-free. Also, wash your face with lukewarm water at lest 2-3 times a day. This helps to clean the dirt build-up and removes any oil.
Also, eat fruits everyday. BUT, make sure eat them on an empty stomach. Try eating fruits before breakfast. This not only energizes you, but it's great for the skin. | |

| xxjinx8xx (897) | 6 months ago | i noticed that your a filipina too. so i will share to you what i did that's why my pimples were gone. i'm using eskinol clear (eskinol, u better thank me for promoting your product! lol) then i will put dalacin-c on it, open the capsule (coz we just need the powder) after u put the powder on eskinol, shake it then apply. wait for a couple of days then u will notice that your pimples are starting to diminish. this tip came from a college friend who also have pimples but when she start using this, they're all gone. PLUS use loreal for moisturizing your skin.. u will notice the changes on your face.

actually, i tried lukewarm water to wash my face then followed by cold water it really helps. no pimples are showing up in my face right now and if i find few of them i just put some acne free cream in it.
i tried toothpaste but them all get healed until i tried lukewarm and cold water. Maybe causes of my pimples is oily in it. I should thank you to all responded me.
