A ti-83 scientific calculator for 20.00  

Not me, but my daughter did Thursday evening..We sent her out, (I love it that she now can drive on her own.. ) that evening to buy some groceries and since she left late, we were already in bed by the time she got back..The next morning she comes to me and tells me about these shoes she saw and how she tried them on and how comfortable they were and they were 17.00..Then she said she bought them and I didn't respond, but thought, could we afford that, even with payday the next day we had to buy car parts..Then she let me know that she got them for 5.00 on clearance..(I think this has to do with a certain chocolate bar and the trick her dad and I pulled on her with a couple of months ago.. )

I haven't gotten anything from a pawn shop in years, actually my computer now is from a pawn shop. It is really ready to crash but I have held on to it now for about 6 years and it is still workable.

That is great. I got a fairly good deal today at the dollar General store on some artificial flowers. I bought them to put in my flower pots out on my decks and also for my flower boxes that I have around my trees also. I need to cut all of the stems though so they will fit in the pots and buckets good though. I love to do stuff like that. they look so pretty and real too.

I have never been to a pawn shop--- I'm sure I would pass on by if I saw one too. Too dangerous I would think- lol that is y small town girl speaking!
I get many good buys- e-bay mostly.
Yes that other calculator is expensive! I needed one for college

really havent been shopping lately for anything. THe best thing I can remeber is getting a chest of drawers for grand daughter for $20 in a yard sale and it is made of wood and very heavty also was the color we needed for her room

It is ages since I have had to use a calculator with algebra functions - thank goodness!

I never been to a pawn shop, so sad to see people having to lose the things they cherish.

Haven't had any real good deals lately, lets see if I can get a good one for my flight back to the UK (keeping my fingers crossed!).

Awesome! We had specific kinds of calculators for algebra when I took the GED class. I don't know what kind they were, but they had a lot of different algebraic functions on it.
