Stew chicken do you like this?

Hi teka, Stewed or stew chicken is like a staple here in Trinidad. I guess everyone has their own way to make it though. Some people boil it in coconut milk, some use water, other put tomato ketchup in it, some people don't. But to answer your question, yes! I love stewed chicken! My dad recently started making it with peas (potatoes excluded) and it is so yummy over cassava that is boiled and then fried with garlic, onions and tomatoes and I like to make homemade biscuits and eat it with the gravy from the chicken when we make it with potatoes!

I don't generally use potatoes with chicken, but this does sound good and I'm always looking for new ideas to cook. I would probably put oregano, basil, thyme, garlic with the tomato sauce if I did it - kind of Italian seasonings. When I stew chicken and will put peas and carrots with it - maybe noodles and thicken the sauce.
