Madonna better now or in the 80s?  

I think that she was better in the 80s. which is when I growed up in.
I always liked Madonna's music back than in the 80s. I didn't think her
music was good after the 80s though. She started leaving her role in music toward the mid 90s. which sucked.

For me, I think Madonna's hits in the 80's are much better. I grew up listening to her music. Her hits this past few years sucks. I don't know but I don't like her music now.

I definitely prefer Madonna's 80s, early 90s music. I started going off her around the time of her American Pie album and my dislike of her music has probably grown with each album/song since then. I'm yet to hear her newest so I cannot comment on that though. HAving said that overall I don't like electronic sounding music which is what a lot of her music has been more recently, so it may not be a Madonna think as such but more of a not liking the direction her music has taken. A clashing of my personal taste with that of Madonna's music.

Likewise here! I likes her hits from the 80's & most of the hits of that time. I guess most of the bands/ solos that came out from the 80's left a deep imprint to the listeners.

I like her Holiday Album

for me, madonna is her best in the 80's. if i listen to her songs, i still prefer to listen to her 80's hits...

i love madonna's borderline, lucky star, and holiday to name a few. these songs are always in my playlist whenever 80's hits are to be played. i believe that madonna is in her best in the 80's rather than today.

I agree, she's just not the same "Madonna" anymore. I'm also a lover of the 80's and the 70's music.

She was extremely better in the 80's. Now she's just beating a dead horse into eternity. I think the woman is some kind of egomaniac who'll just do whatever she wants, whether or not it's any good. She should stick to spreading Kabbalah or adopting orphans from 3rd world countries and quit the music business.

I liker her 90's stuff the best, like a payer, vouge, bedtime stores and ray of light are my most favortie albums of hers. I do like her new stuff as well but not as much as her older stuff.
