ronaldo still wants to play in Spain | | he had denied this issue several times and he even confirmed it by saying that he is happy playing football for manchester united but looks like this guy cannot get his eyes off spanish league as he was caught talking with spanish media that he would want to play in spanish league sometimes and most likely in the real madrid team

The only thing Real Madrid can offer him that Man Utd can't is the weather and if some one want's to leave and go to another country for a bit of sunshine then he is stupid. Real Madrid are not the great club they once were and allthough they may win La Liga this year it's still not alot for such a huge club.
Just look at player's like David Beckham, Thiery Henry and Steve McManhon who all left England to go to Spain insearch of better football/more money and more sucess. They all failed and alot of damage was done to their career's.
The English premiership is the most lucrative and the best league in the world, star's such as Ronalinho turned down the chance to come to england once, but how time's have changed and according to his agent brother he has had talk's with many English club's this year.

After a few years of training and playing in England league, he has been good enough at how to mix his personal show with Manu's teamwork, Manu has taught him how to be a good member of team, but not to play alone in the field. That's crucial point that he could'nt learn from Spanish league or Real Madrid! C.Ronaldo is going to get his top in Manu! In my view, once he has already got Euro Club Champion, he must be leaving for his another top, because I can see his ambition in his eyes, he is still young for getting more glories! England is just one of his goals. If one day he decides to leave, I will wish his best and give my admiration on his important contribution to Manu's success!

| | 3. frontier2002 (489) | 2 years ago | I believe Ronaldo has a point behind his intention moving to Real Madrid. And of course he is simply the best now and he should be paid higher than his current earning. The current problem of Manchester United despite of winning all those trophies is the club seems to unable paying the huge debt of more than 700 millions cause by Glazer family's mistakes for borrowing too much when purchasing the club.
Therefore the club is somehow very fragile in terms of its financial strength whereas Real Madrid is rich and always rich with little debt problems. In case of any crisis of not winning any cups or whatsoever Manchester united can simply doom into financial problems which resulting in cutting players' wages or selling them off to cover up the debts. I hope this kind of thing won't happen to my favorite club and of course my respects to Sir Alex Ferguson as the greatest manager of the club.
I think it was a mistake made by Glazer's family and it is a big mistake that seems hard to get rid off.

| | | 6. ez1982 (74) | 1 year ago | Why do all these players think that Real Madrid is the best club in the world?? I think it's great Ronaldo has a dream of playing for them, but he would be mad to go now. He's only 23 (I think!) and has only been with Manchester for a short time. If he wants to be remembered and revered by United fans as a legend then he should stay and prove that he can win more trophies with us.
He's gone about this the total wrong way and he shouldn't of lied about his plans. I was chuffed to bits when he said at the end of the Champions League final that he said he'd stay - how many other fans felt like that only to be let down and confused by his actions now. If he wants to go we should just let him. Sir Alex seems to have an eye for young talent and I'm sure we could get a couple of good players with the money from Real. We've won without him and no doubt we will continue to if he leaves. Come on United!!
