Has anyone seen the movie "Iron Man" yet?  |

 My husband & I went to see this movie yesterday. It was such a good movie. Robert Downey Jr. really out did himeself here. It is based on a comic book character of a man who invents this suit to help people that are in trouble. It was a really good movie & some of the lines that Robert Downey Jr. came out with were hilarious. Did I mention that he deffinately buffed up for the part? Well he did LOL. My sister told me that she heard there is another scene right after the ending credits, but I don't know for sure because my husband & I left as soon as the movie was over. For all the people that saw this movie, was there another last scene after the ending credits? If so please send me a PM & tell me what I missed. Thank you.

I am not sure what kind of movie it is or if it would be the kind that I would necessarily want to see. I am more the psychological drama kind of person than anything else.

| 2. jayperiod (695) | 3 months ago |  The movie pleasantly surprised me. I was so glad I went to see it. I think it'll end up being one of the best films of the year.
RDJr did a great job playing the part of Tony Stark. I'm not usually a big fan of his, but he hit this part out of the park. I can't wait for the sequel in a couple of years. (He's also playing Stark in the Hulk movie this summer.)

 recidivist20 (262) | 3 months ago |  i had that inkling to stay on and wait for the credits to end, thinking there'll be another scene there.. BUT i didn't. . .we left when the credits were showing...
it really is starting to be a practice to insert scenes after the credits, it seems. take X-Men, and Constantine..well, one good thing about is the people on the credits get to, at least, have that chance of getting their name read..
as for the Iron Man movie, i liked it a lot! good for DOwney to have overcome that alcholism, huh..wasn't he the one linked with Calista Flockhart before? Anyway, the movie also dropped hints for future movies related to the character of Iron Man, like War Machine, S.H.I.E.L.D., and of course a movie with all the existing Marvel heroes coming together.

The pacing was slow in the beginning since they want to establish how he came up with the suit but the pacing picked up after that. I'm thinking why did they used a computer voice simulation of Jarvis ala KITT instead of a real actor? Anyway, Robert Downey fit the role like a glove. War Machine anyone?

I honestly didn't know much about Iron Man from the comics, but it seems that they did a really good job with it. A lot of my friends are comic book fans, and they have been uniformly impressed with the movie.
