Just goes to prove that there is no dearth of talent here, but we have made the entire environment of this nation so poisonous with our mediocrity and chamchabazi that very few people flourish here on the basis of merit. A talented Indian always has to leave India to shine brightly, to be counted amongst the best in the world. We always have to beg for scholarships with rich nations so that we can send our brightest students there so that they settle down there, hold on to their Indian passport and we in turn cry ourselves hoarse saying how proud we are to be Indians, while half-naked children with begging bowls and vacant eyes, stare back at us from every corner of every road.
